Create your family holiday memories when you stay with us.

You will be welcomed by our awesome reception, housekeeping and groundskeeping team, alongside Evander and Blair our on-site owner-operators. We are in the process of doing up the park facilities to improve the property and bring new and exciting upgrades for you to enjoy.    

We love the Hawke's Bay area, we love the local people and we are sure you will love everything Hawke's Bay has to offer you too. Our vision is that we will assist you here in stunning Hawke's Bay so that you can make the best use of your time and budget. Our people are friendly & informed. They live either on-site or locally. And as natural hosts, they find nothing more rewarding than seeing their guests enjoying themselves.

Hastings TOP 10 Holiday Park

This park has a long history that stretches back to the early 1900s, with families who have been frequenting our park for over 50 years.  

We are located in Hastings, central to all attractions Hawke's Bay has to offer, with Splash Planet right around the corner, Havelock North a 5-minute drive and Napier being 15 minutes. Our beautiful gardens, the tranquil park-like setting will ensure a relaxing stay. 

Shady tree-lined avenues, well-landscaped gardens and a great children's playground, tennis/basketball court, private spa pools and swimming pool complex ensures an enjoyable time for all.  Situated in the heart of Hawke's Bay, close to local wineries, local attractions, Hastings CBD and adjacent to the largest water theme park in New Zealand, Splash Planet.

Policies

Reception Hours

We are open from 8.30am to 6pm daily (except Christmas day where we are closed).

Dog Policy

Hastings TOP 10 Holiday Park is dog friendly by pre-arrangement, except between 20 December – 30 January, or during events and long weekends. A maximum stay of 5 nights is permitted.

The following conditions apply:

  • Dogs are strictly by prior arrangement only, and a maximum of 2 dogs per group applies
  • A $10 fee per stay for your dog (excludes assistant dogs)
  • Certified disability assist dogs are welcome, with proof of certification
  • We reserve the right to exclude some breeds of dog entering our park
  • Your dog must be well-socialized with people and other animals and be fully house trained
  • Your dog must be always on a lead around the grounds and cannot be left unattended
  • All dogs must be legally registered
  • Your dog must be clean and not have fleas
  • You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet immediately
  • Your dog is not permitted in or around communal facilities
  • Damages caused by your pet are the owners/booking holders’ sole responsibility and will be charged based on the specific damage
  • We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays aggressive or unacceptable behaviour, including, but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking)
  • Guests with undeclared dogs will be required to leave without refund

Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Charging

Customers may charge hybrid/electric vehicles at $10 per day per vehicle on top of your site or room tarrif.

Please note a $50 surcharge will apply if found charging without notification.

Visitors

Visitors are at the discrection of Management. Anyone wanting to visit a guest in the park will need to check in at reception and pay a $10.00 per person, per day visitor fee. Visitor hours are 9am - 9pm. Visitor vehicles are not able to enter the park and must be parked offsite.

NO Fires, BBQs, Fireworks or Generators 

We strictly prohibit the use of open wood or charcoal fires/BBQs, gas fire pits, or generators on our premises. You're welcome to use gas BBQs at our holiday park. Please ensure they're safe before use and turn off the gas after grilling. Gas BBQs are also located around the holiday park for your convenience.

Conduct & Noise

We kindly ask all our guests to observe the quiet hours from 9:00 pm to 7.00 am to ensure a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for everyone. During this time noise levels are to be kept to a minimum. The only exception to this rule is on New Year's Eve when reasonable noise is permitted until 1.00 am to celebrate the occasion.

If your noise levels are deemed excessive or offensive to other guests, we may kindly ask you to lower the volume or turn off the source of noise before curfew. This is to ensure that everyone can enjoy their holiday to the fullest. We reserves the right to charge a minimum of $100.00 call-out fee to any guest, that staff have been called out to, past the 9 pm curfew due to excessive noise and disruption of others. This fee covers the cost of staff intervention and any inconvenience caused to other guests.

We take pride in being a family-oriented destination with a focus on providing a safe and enjoyable experience. We have specific rules in place regarding no partying, excessive drinking, and keeping noise to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere. Therefore, reservations for groups that are not deemed legitimate family groups or couples must have an adult, parent, or official guardian present throughout the stay. The reservation will only be accepted under the name of the adult parent or official guardian, who will be held fully responsible for the group's conduct.

Wearing or displaing of gang related insignia including patches is not permitted.

Holidays are supposed to be fun and relaxing, and we do everything we can to help make your stay an enjoyable one. However, sometimes holidays for Kiwi families can be stressful, especially on arrival. If you find yourself in this category, take a deep breath. We’re here to help you check in, find your accommodation, and settle into holiday mode.

In saying that, Hastings TOP 10 Holiday Park has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of abuse directed towards our staff or patrons. If any individual is found to be engaging in such behaviour, we reserve the right to remove them from the premises immediately without any refund for accommodation expenses. Please be aware that any additional costs incurred for alternative accommodation due to an eviction will not be the responsibility of Hastings TOP 10 Holiday Park.
